Re-elected to the NZLS Property Law Section Executive Committee
David was re-elected to the NZLS Property Law Section Executive Committee for a three year term. Following his initial term from 2010 to 2013, he looks forward to meeting his Property Lawyer colleagues throughout New Zealand and working with them again.
Elected to the Council of the ADLSi
David is pleased to have been elected to the Council of the ADLSi for the three years beginning 2014. This year is his fifth year of service, to the profession and members of the Society, as a Councillor
ADLSI Memorial Service
David was honoured to do a reading at the annual ADLSI Memorial Service held at Chancery Chambers on 20 November 2013 to honour members and former members of the legal profession who had passed away in the last year.
Re-elected to the Council of the NZ Society of Notaries Inc
David was re-elected to the Council of the NZ Society of Notaries Incorporated at the AGM in Auckland, which also adopted the new constitution he helped draft. The new Council met in Christchurch in February and will meet again in Wellington in August 2014.
Constitution Review
Following his appointment, at the initial AGM of the Society held in Auckland in September 2012, to the Council of the NZ Society of Notaries Incorporated, David has recently been reviewing the Society’s constitution.
Election Results
In the second ever elections for the NZLS Auckland Branch, David was the fourth highest polling of the seven candidates for three positions on the Council.
Executive Term Ends
David’s three year term on the Executive Committee of the NZLS Property Law Section ended. He enjoyed meeting other Property Lawyers throughout the country during regional meetings at Tauranga, Hamilton, NewPlymouth, Napier, Palmerston North, Nelson, Invercargill, Dunedin Wellington and Auckland.
